The University of Arkansas Athletic Department and Razorback Sports Properties have announced the Arkansas-Auburn football game on Saturday, Oct. 11, at Jordan-Hare Stadium in Auburn, Ala., will be broadcast on a pay-per-view basis in Arkansas.
Per Southeastern Conference television regulations, the game is available through cable systems in Arkansas and Alabama and to small dish owners who subscribe to DirecTV or Dish Network in the two states. The cost of the pay per view broadcast is $34.99.
The game will also be made available outside Arkansas and Alabama via ESPN GamePlan. Other cable and small dish owners can contact their service provider for ordering information.
"We are excited to bring the Arkansas-Auburn game to the Razorback fans," Arkansas Director of Athletics Jeff Long said. "After preliminary reports of nearly 8,000 subscribers for our first pay-per-view game against Louisiana-Monroe, we were thrilled when final calculations resulted in 17,000 subscribers. The record response reflects the passion our fans have for following the Razorbacks."
