Beverley will not compete for Razorbacks in the 2008-2009 Season

The University of Arkansas announced on Friday that Patrick Beverley would not compete for the Arkansas Razorbacks Basketball for the upcoming 2008-2009 season.

Junior guard Patrick Beverley will not compete for the Razorbacks in the 2008-09 basketball season.

The University of Arkansas, including its administrators and coaches, will have no further comment due to student privacy laws.

CBS Sports reported that Beverley was not going to compete this year due to academic issues. Friday was the last day of summer classes at the university.
